PS: I want to add that I spoke about two meanings of being awakened, or "enlightenment":
(1) Ultimate and complete enlightenment. (Delusions and their imprints don't appear).
(2) Just the liberation from the rule of delusions. (Thanks to thorough recognition of the illusoriness of conceptions, including the illusoriness of "self", deluded processes do not overtake the mind).
Some Zen teachers introduce the third meaning:
(3) Just moments of seeing without elaborations - it's already "seeing the nature", already being awakened.
It's not "liberation from delusions" yet - in the sense that moments of purity of perceptions pass, and delusions come back. Though, in some sense, those moments manifest awakened perception.
